Christmas Basket Distribution in Montreal: Over 5,000 Families Supported
Over the past few days, we have marked an important milestone in our history by holding our final annual Christmas basket distribution on Avenue du Parc, where we had been temporarily serving the community since 2018.
The Christmas basket distribution concluded on December 22. Until our services fully resume, we will respond only to emergency situations. We will then continue our mission at our new address, 7501 boulevard Saint-Laurent, beginning January 12.
A Tangible Impact for Families
Each basket distributed represents far more than food. It brings comfort, dignity, and the joy of the holiday season to families, seniors, individuals living alone, and people with reduced mobility. In a challenging economic climate, this tangible support makes a meaningful difference in our community.
This large-scale initiative was made possible thanks to incredible community mobilization:
1,000 volunteers helped with the collection, preparation, and distribution of baskets.
250 companies and partners organized food and new toy drives.
La Guignolée des médias helped raise donations that directly contributed to providing Christmas baskets to a greater number of families.
Every donation and every hour of volunteer time helped create a real and lasting impact for thousands of Montrealers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and mobilization initiatives. Their commitment and generosity truly embody the spirit of the holidays and show that solidarity can change lives.
You can still make a difference in the lives of Montreal families. Make a donation today, and help extend his wave of generosity:
