ANN ST ARNAUD
Communications Director

Ann St Arnaud started working at Sun Youth as a summer student in the summer of 1995, while completing her bachelor’s degree in Psychoéducation. The following year she would join in the organization’s efforts to assist flood victims in Saguenay, where she gained an interest for emergency services. She further developed this interest when she started working full-time for the organization in January 1998, when the infamous Ice Storm hit the province. Throughout the years, Ann has been involved at every level in all of Sun Youth’s departments which is a great asset when it comes to her actual role as Director of communications.

ERIC KINGSLEY
Emergency Services Director

Eric Kingsley first joined Sun Youth in 1998 as a bike patroller where he developed an interest for community work and Sun Youth. Upon completion of his degree in Correctional intervention at John Abbott College, Eric joined the crime prevention department and subsequently the emergency services. Eric enthusiastically tackled one challenge after another, developing the programs in the emergency services and organizing events, such as the new bike give away, back to school and Christmas basket distribution. He was named Director of Emergency services in 2019.

DANIEL ROUSSEAU
Finance Vice-President

Daniel Rousseau, CPA, CA, joined the Sun Youth team as Vice-President, Finance in 2017 after a 27-year career at Bombardier. He is a Finance Executive with vast and solid experience at a national and international level. He has proven expertise in finance, negotiation of contracts and integration of new finance employees following acquisitions. He is recognized for his participatory leadership, ability to inspire, motivate and rally people towards a common goal, qualities he has put to good use since joining the Sun Youth team.

ERNEST ROSA
Director of Property Management

Ernest Rosa has been involved with Sun Youth since 1992 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Leisure Studies and pursuing a Diploma in Sports Administration at Concordia University. His first position was as Assistant Director in the Sports Department and was promoted to Director some 10 years later. In 2016, Sun Youth was looking for a Properties Management Director and due to his experiences and knowledge of the construction industry, he decided that it was time to take up a new challenge within the organization.

Billy Provias
Director of Procurement

Billy Provias has been involved with Sun Youth for the past 30 plus years. Growing up in the neighborhood he played sports, attended the summer camp and every activity the organization had to offer. For him, his siblings and friends, Sun Youth was a second home. After finishing culinary school, he worked in various establishments in the food industry which allowed him to create a network of suppliers, food manufacturers, distributors, etc. After leaving the private sector, he was able to bring his knowledge and network to help community organizations, homeless shelters. He was the Procurement Director for the largest food bank in Canada for years until he finally came back home to Sun Youth.

Linda Bell
Campaign Director

Linda Bell, CFRE joined Sun Youth in 2021 as Director, Campaign. After over twenty years of working with organizations such as the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, the YMCAs of Quebec Foundation, Kids Help Phone and Concordia University, she is happy to be returning to her roots in community fundraising. Linda holds the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation. When she’s not at Sun Youth, you’ll find Linda paddling a kayak or baking gluten-free cakes.

Renzo Fraraccio
President

CEO and co-owner of Burovision and Falkbuilt, Montreal and Ottawa’s digital interior construction and contract furniture specialists. Renzo has been a Sun Youth Board member since 2018 and is the President of the Quebec Midget Football league.

Nathan Weinstein
Administrator

Nathan is a Chartered Real Estate Broker in Quebec and New Brunswick, and licensed in Nova Scotia and Alberta. Nathan has worked in the Shopping Center industry for over 30 years with Riocan, Oxford Properties, Primaris REIT, and currently works as Vice President of Real Estate in Quebec and Eastern Canada for Cushman and Wakefield.

Sid Stevens
Administrator & Co-Founder Sun Youth Organization

For over 65 years, Sid has committed his efforts to improving the lives and futures of Montrealer’s living in poverty, or to managing crisis situations. He has received countless accolades and awards from governments, community organizations and universities; he received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from McGill University and The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Ron Wiebe
Administrator

Commercial Real Estate- Business Brokerage for Ron Wiebe Realties. Ron Wiebe has proudly served on the Sun Youth Board since 2020. He operates a boutique agency of commercial real estate and business brokers in the greater Montreal area. Long time and loyal donor of blood, palettes and plasma through Hema Quebec. Greatest joy is devoting time to be with his wonderful wife, 4 married children and nine grandchildren. Peter D. Thompson
Treasurer

Senior Vice President, Insurance, National Bank of Canada and President and CEO of National Bank Insurance.“Peter has been involved in the banking industry for over 30 years. In this time, he has led teams in commercial banking, international trade finance, real estate financing and is currently responsible for National Bank of Canada’s insurance business. He has been a member of the Sun Youth Board of Directors since 2016.”

Dimitri Manolopoulos
Administrator

Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing & IT at The National Bank of Canada with over 20 years in the telecom, banking, and financial services industries. Dimitri is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sun Youth Organization since 2009 and chairs the Sun Youth Foundation Board. He is a passionate volunteer coach of the Sun Youth Hornets Midget AAA Football team.

Mariella Lo Papa
Administrator

Mariella Lo Papa is Co-Leader of the firm’s national Real Estate Law practice group and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Law group in Montréal. For more than 20 years, she has focused on retail, office and industrial leasing and related matters, representing landlords, tenants and portfolio managers. This gives Mariella the perspective to generate solutions for clients and to create constructive, ongoing relationships between the parties. She has worked on major leasing transactions involving regional shopping centers, lifestyle centers, office buildings and mixed-use properties, as well as sale-leaseback transactions.
Named a Leading Practitioner in Property Leasing in the 2015-2019 editions of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, as well as the 2017-2019 editions of Best Lawyers In Canada, Mariella is recognized as an expert in her field. She has also been recognized as an Acritas Star Lawyers since 2017 in Acritas Stars.

Peter Goldman
Administrator

Peter is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Peter has held positions of CFO/Controller in varied industries over a 30-year career. In this time he has implemented internal controls, Computer systems, and mentored business owners. Peter in recent years has benefited firsthand from various volunteer services and is devoted to giving back.
