This year has been difficult for many Montreal families. Thousands of people have experienced employment instability, illness, and even the loss of loved ones. Since mid-March, we have helped over 40,000 people, and we will have to help thousands more before we reach the new year. To further complicate matters, we are now in the second wave of the pandemic, and the Holidays are approaching. With all the unique challenges and obstacles that lay before us, a successful distribution of Holiday food baskets to people who count on us depends on your support more than ever.
We need a second wave of generosity.
Thanks to your support in the spring, we could completely reorganize our services to limit the virus’s spread and manage the increased demand. Our home deliveries of emergency services have saved thousands of seniors and vulnerable people from putting their health at risk to ensure food security or obtain medication.
This season, your donation will allow us to give struggling Montreal families a rest from worrying about how they will put food on the table or gifts under the tree for their children. It will also allow us to keep our vulnerable senior community safe and healthy for the long winter months ahead.
This year more than ever, we hope to bring a little sunshine to Montrealers most in need.
