A New Chapter: Moving and Opening Our Community Hub
While our teams are currently enjoying a well-deserved break for the holiday season, an exciting milestone is on the horizon: the opening of our new building.
Starting January 12, the first floor, including our food bank, will be open to the public at our new location: 7501 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Montreal. We are eager to share this project with you, as it marks a major step in Sun Youth’s history and will allow us to continue maximizing our impact in the community.
Designed to offer modern, welcoming spaces tailored to our various services, this new building is more than just a location. It will become a true community hub, a symbol of solidarity and hope for everyone who walks through its doors. It will also allow us to support other community organizations in need of space, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
Opening of Our Food Bank
Although the official inauguration of the building is scheduled for late spring 2026, our food bank will open in the new facility on January 12, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential food services for the families and individuals who rely on us.
Our recreational and sports activities will continue according to the existing schedule and locations. Every effort is being made to ensure a smooth transition and maintain all services, as the well-being of our community remains at the heart of our priorities.
A Space for You
We are excited to welcome you to this new space, designed to better meet the needs of our community.
Stay tuned to our social media platforms, newsletter, and website: we will keep you updated on the next steps and invite you to join us for the official grand opening of your community hub — a unique and historic moment for Sun Youth.
