When the late Earl De La Perralle and I started Sun Youth 65 years ago, we never dreamed that it would grow into the diverse organization that it has become today, one that embodies the generosity of Montrealers.

As we enter this Holiday season and reflect on our milestone year, all of us at Sun Youth look back with pride at what we have built and are forever thankful to the thousands of dedicated people like you who have helped us create an organization that will always be there for our fellow Montrealers in need.

Once again this season, we are asking for your help as Sun Youth prepares to distribute Holiday food baskets to 5,000 struggling families, along with 4,000 new toys to you 12 years and under. Your donation will help our less fortunate neighbours gather together in the spirit of the Holidays and feel the warmth of your compassion. As our statistics show, this timely show of support will be enough to get thousands of families out of their desperate situations and onto a path of success and independence for the New Year. Time after time, we have seen proof of this as people who have been helped by Sun Youth come back to help us help others. No contribution is too small and your generosity will allow us to continue supporting Montrealers who need it most, not only during the Holiday season, but all year round.

As is our custom, we are inviting thousands of less fortunate Montreal families to celebrate the Holidays with us and inviting you to help us to help others.
