1955 -Sid’s first CBC interview
From the very beginning, Sun Youth has placed a lot of importance on communications. Our founders always had at heart to report success stories, achievements and good deeds of the young people, and to inform the public of the services and activities offered by Sun Youth.
On this 1955 photo, Sid Stevens is seen next to the host of “Tabloid”, Percy Saltzman, in the CBC studios. This snapshot of a TV screen was probably taken by a member of the Stevens family during the live broadcast.
