1958 -Our first Basketball Team
Sun Youth’s first basketball team was created in 1958. There was a girl on the team, Ann Kardassilaris (see 2nd picture). In 1961, the team expanded and our co-founder Earl De La Perralle went from player to coach. On this picture from 1961, we see both co-founders: Earl, first on the left in the first row and Sid Stevens, holding the ball.
