1954 -Hockey, our first sport
In 1954, the founders of Sun Youth mostly thought of having fun. The funds raised by the Clark Street Sun were first used to help children play hockey. The games were held at Fletcher’s Field, where the Jeanne-Mance Park football field is now located.
